Thai Milk Pudding เต้าหู้นมสด – Hot Thai Kitchen!

These melt-in-your-mouth, refreshing milk puddings are the all the rage in Thailand right now! Apart from being unbelievably cute (which is very important) these are the perfect dessert for when you just want something light to end a meal or to cool you off on a hot summer afternoon. And beautiful dessert recipes don’t get any easier than this, it’s essentially foolproof, and you can make them days in advance! Oh, and did I mention it’s gluten-free? If serving vegetarian, substitute gelatin for agar agar powder.

In this video I show you a few of my favourite toppings, but feel free to experiment with other toppings such as mango, peaches, or lychees. Anything that you think would go well with a dollop of whipped cream will go great with the milkiness of the pudding.!

About Pai:

Pailin “Pai” Chongchitnant is the author of the Hot Thai Kitchen cookbook, co-host of a Canadian TV series One World Kitchen on Gusto TV, and creator and host of the YouTube channel Pailin’s Kitchen.

Pai was born and raised in southern Thailand where she spent much of her “playtime” in the kitchen. She traveled to Canada to study Nutritional Sciences at the University of British Columbia, and was later trained as a chef at Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in San Francisco.

After working in both Western and Thai professional kitchens, she decided that her passion really lies in educating and empowering others to cook at home via YouTube videos, her cookbook, and cooking classes.
